Milk and Honey Hair, is a popular destination salon boasting a team of highly skilled stylists committed to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering client connections that resonate throughout the salon.
Owners, Belle & Dani, have the belief that fresh hair can do more than just transform a person’s appearance. They truly believe a visit to the salon can bring relaxation, mental-wellbeing, enhance self-esteem & confidence.
Inspired by a recent Gold Coast conference, With Love, From Milk & Honey initiative has been created with a focus of providing compassionate assistance & complimentary hair services to community members experiencing loss & hardship.
The salon will serve as a haven where individuals can share their experiences, find comfort, and rediscover their self-worth & dignity. We have faith that With Love, From Milk & Honey will be a testament to the strength & power of human connection and the incredible difference that offering support in times of darkness can make.
The Selection Criteria and Process;
Despite our desire to help all those in need, we strive to support a maximum number of people, as frequently as we can manage. Here’s an overview of the process we follow for selection:
- Application Procedure: In order to gain a better understanding of each individual’s circumstances, we kindly request that those who wish to be considered complete a simple application form, which can be accessed through our website.
- Criteria for evaluation: We access each submitted application based on several key factors, including the intensity of the individual’s circumstances, the support networks currently available to them, and the positive influence that our services may have on their life.
- Contacting Successful Candidates: The chosen individuals will be informed of their selection within four weeks after their application. We request your cooperation and understanding while we access each application.
- Waitlist Procedure: In the interest of equity, individuals who are not chosen right away may be added to a waiting list and given consideration as opportunities arise in the future.
- Ongoing Support: We acknowledge that receiving support during difficult circumstances is vital, which is why we aim to provide useful resources and guidance to those who may not be able to access our direct services right away.
